6. My education. Because my teachers educate me (on a daily basis) that the little fire inside my heart to help others will not be extinguished, but fueled. That when others have told me that I can’t make a difference, I can. That the cause I stand for is noble and good. That I will never walk alone throughout my journey as a teacher. Through my program I have been introduced to some of the most inspiring people. I attend class with people like me. People that want to change the world, and believe that they will do it. I love sitting in a room full of people that think education matters. It makes me smile.
Clearly, the past few entries are not an extensive list of all the things I'm thankful for. I will never be able to express my thankfulness for all the blessings in my life, and I am so thankful for that.
And finally, I'm thankful for you, my readers. Your words and comments mean so much to me. I truly hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. :)
